Born and raised in Bangladesh, Asna Towfiq has over 13 years of experience in the international development sector working on Women’s Economic Empowerment, Gender Equality and Renewable Energy across Asia and Africa.

 

Asna is trained in Women’s Leadership Development and Soul Coaching. She also worked as a Radio Host for over five years.
Having worked with women from different countries, sectors, backgrounds and societal classes, Asna realized the need to put out the inspiring stories and create a strong narrative about Bangladeshi Women.

 

Through “ShowUP like her”, Asna’s vision is to make more space for Bangladeshi Women in Global Leadership ommunities and empower women to live their ultimate dreams.

 

SHOWUP Like Her aims to create a community of Bangladeshi women – to support each other, to learn and share, and to make space for us in international communities.
