Title: Building a community and leading with confidence

Description: There is immense joy in bringing people together, but it’s not an easy task. It requires dedication and passion. While Bangladeshi diaspora communities exist in most cities, younger generations often struggle to feel connected within them. Building communities that bridge generational gaps requires openness and flexibility across age groups. In this episode, we explore one such community: The Bengalis of Atlanta, and its founder. Malika, a young woman of Bangladeshi heritage, leads with passion, love, and, most importantly, the wisdom and legacy of her father. We break down on how to successfully build an inclusive community and take up the leadership role being a young woman from Bangladesh.
